Anticipated District-Wide ESL Teachers - 2024/2025 Position: Up to 3 ESL teachers Required Qualifications: DESE Elementary ESL licensure Bachelor's Degree Teaching experience Ability to teach students across a range of language proficiency levels, particularly SLIFE and newcomer students Strong written and oral communication Excellent interpersonal skills, especially those in the areas of collaboration, problem-solving, and decision making Ability to use technology effectively Desired Qualifications: Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and/or Portuguese At least 1 year of relevant experience Experience with family outreach Compensation: In accordance with the Burlington Educators’ Association Unit A Contract Start Date: August 2024 Burlington's student body represents a broad range of cultures and backgrounds.
