Caring Transitions delivers professional and courteous services to help seniors and families relocate, downsize, house cleanouts, online auction, estate sales, and more! In this role, you are part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transition customers in Durham, NC and the surrounding areas. Within a customer’s house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities.    Paid training provided. 

**Bonus if you have estate sales/packing/sorting/organizing/antique experience! We want to talk to you!

Job description (including, but not limited to):

• Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home

• Lifting of boxes/decor and some furniture within the home and to new location

• Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold

• Safely pack and unpack goods

• Disposal of unwanted items for donation or removal

• Taking pictures of items for online auction

• Delivery and shipping of items purchased through online auction

• Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers

• And more, no 2 days are alike!

Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

• Must be able to lift 30#, stand for 4-6 hours, bend over, go up and down ladder

• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation

• Work in hot/cold settings from time to time, and dirty/dusty situations 

• Access to a computer for scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps

• Excellent customer service skills

• Must be detailed oriented and good with organizational skills

Availability and hours:

• Include your availability when applying.

• Part-time hours--no two days or weeks are the same with no guarantee of hours.
