Description
We are looking for a talented onsite Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Manufacturing Rebuild Center in Henderson, Colorado.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provides technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader.
Assists in the analysis, review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
Determine gaps within corporate HSE initiatives and local health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Work with internal HSE systems and reporting processes i.e. (Enablon, Compliance).
Perform quality checks to identify non-confirming material and participate in HSE inspection and audit programs.
Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation and risk assessments processes.
Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard through internal reporting processes.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in Health, Safety and Environment.
High School Diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Two year University degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related field preferred.
Excellent communication skills needed with ability to interact within all levels of the Organization (local and Corporate) and external stakeholders with a focus on customer service.
Please note, this onsite role will support the Manufacturing Rebuild Center and provide onsite support at our nearby Warehouse Facility. Flexibility to adjust work schedule to business needs and unexpected situations required.
This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.
Compensation and Benefits
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Hourly pay range for this position is $27.50 – 41.25/hour, base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
