IS Application Specialist (SAP FI/CO Consultant)

What is the Job all about?

Provides level 2 application support for IS Finance to all the Grundfos finance organization. The Application Specialist will also support the Group Finance and FP&A-Planning teams in designing, developing and implementing financial consolidation and financial planning processes and tools. Likewise, the Application Specialist participates in basic application consultancy and support of system solutions based on existing working methods within an application area in order to support business users and strengthen the usage of core business applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct second-line support work according to the defined Grundfos IS support framework.

• Deliver basic consultancy, ensuring primary ownership of assigned tasks.

• Implement and deploy changes and application adjustments.

• Communicate with requester according to above, including super users, super user networks or SMEGs.

• Optimize own tools and processes.

• Participate in giving training if necessary.

• Provide a competent interface for users and keep them informed of progress, feasibility or potential needs for inputs.

• Document your own work in a collaborative manner.

• Participate in upcoming strategic projects for SAP Group Financial Reporting and SAC Planning (budgeting and forecasting)

Your background:

• University or college degree in Information Technology or related field

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

• A minimum of 3 years of relative experience is required for this role.

• Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO-working on S4 Hana

• Proven technical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced time management and organizational skills.
