Responsibilities Job Summary The Decision Support Analyst I position extracts financial and productivity data from multiple information systems, conducts analyses, and prepares reports. Assists in the preparation of facility-wide operating budgets, monthly budget variance reporting, productivity reporting, cost accounting, and building business intelligence visualizations. Maintains and updates numerous tables from data entry software applications and may manipulate for practical reporting to clinical departments. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Demonstrates ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized financial-oriented reports. Work with large amounts of data and analyze the data for trends and patterns. Able to help make both conclusions and recommendations for future efforts. Data Display and Reporting: Presents actionable data to end users in the format best matched to their needs, including publishing key reports using Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Provides support to users in interpreting and presenting data, including presentation of data to individuals and groups as needed. Communication and Collaboration: Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Communicates and collaborates with other departments or Service Line Leaders in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience in related field Required Experience 2 years related experience in data querying, reporting & analysis with an emphasis on financial data.
