Job Detail

The Senior Project Manager will determine user demands, establish work priorities, and plan for projects; directs and monitors project work. they will also maintain project issues and reports those to Executives and communicates to the Steering Committees on progress of critical path items. You will need to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


  • Plan, coordinate and direct additional projects and efforts as necessary to meet corporate and departmental objectives and requirements.

  • Develop and maintain a project roadmap for future phases of Data Warehouse Development.

  • Develop long and short range plans, including Application Development Plans and Resource Development Plans, to achieve corporate systems development objectives.

  • Maintain effective communications with other departments to assist, coordinate and collaborate in the attainment of corporate objectives.

  • Work with application owners in establishing priorities and service requirements.

  • Organize and facilitate project planning and prioritization of major project backlog items.

  • Work with development teams to identify and remove impediments, facilitate discussions, and self-organize.

  • Perform related duties as required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to facilitate planning and completion of projects.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field preferred.

  • Five years as a System Analyst or Project Lead equivalent

  • Four years of leadership experience coordinating large projects

  • Five years of experience in thorough documentation of complex systems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development methodologies

  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools

  • Expertise in project tracking tools

  • Excellent meeting facilitation skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus solid organization, presentation and documentation abilities, including Visio diagrams.

  • Ability to interact well with all levels within the organization

  • Excellent problem solving/ analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse organizations and teams
