Job Summary: Vacuum Sealer positions are available and will be responsible for all activities involving bagging and racking of product according to customer specifications. Vacuum Sealers must accurately and consistently gauge order details. We are looking for team members with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail. Team members will also be required to participate in plant clean-up and other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. Overtime and weekends required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Bag and seal orders to specific customer specifications.
• Organize orders according to supervisor instructions.
• Check each order for quality before racking.
• Communicate potential discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Review workspace for cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with plant clean-up.
• On-time reporting to scheduled shifts.
• Follow established safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Excellent active listening skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work while standing for extended periods and while making repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs and back, frequent rotations and twisting and bending at the waist.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
• Flexibility Required. Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, long shifts, overtime and late-night shifts.

Education/Experience:

• On-the-job training provided. We welcome employees with no prior experience or training.
