Summary

This position assists in the maintenance of all Golf Course equipment. The Assistant Mechanic reports directly to the Head Mechanic

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and service small engines.
• Operation and maintenance of all mowers and tractors.
• Service all resort vehicles.
• Supply list of all supplies, parts, safety equipment etc. for superintendent.
• Keep service records on all equipment and vehicles
• Inventory and maintenance of all tools.
• Grind and maintain all mower reels.
• Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of small engine repairs and tune-ups, such as Kohler, 16hp. Ability to do welding repairs and fabrication.
• Familiar with the mechanics of hydraulic systems and repair to such systems.
• Knowledge and ability to work with a minimum of supervisio
